Lost, Found, and Recompiled: The Return of Urban Art Core
Between 2009 and the end of 2012, I was deeply embedded in the global street art scene. During those peak years, my blog, urbanartcore.eu, grew into one of Europe’s primary digital hubs for graffiti and urban art culture. It was a daily log of a specific era of hype, documenting the movement as it exploded across walls from Berlin to Bristol. After 2012, the project sat stale. It remained online, a silent archive of that era, until 2016. ...

Nychos passed through London last month and even with loads of rain, overzealous council workers buffing a piece on a private wall (within hours of it being finished) and several days dealing with a mysterious illness, he managed to paint some amazing murals. (VNA) ...

Urban Multimedia Art: The Solution Is Irrelevant
Curated by 44flavours and Clemens Behr the group installation The Solution Is Irrelevant will take place tonight at Berlin’s Epicentro Artspace, Karl-Marx-Allee 82-84! Including graffiti and tagging actions, group-pasting and sticker runs as well as run aways and police controls, the latest trailer (which is online for a few weeks now) promises deep and interesting insight into the loosely linked core group of creatives doing street art in Germany’s capital. Although I haven’t heard anything new about the film after the trailer, I’m nevertheless pretty sure there will be a release in near future - I’ll definitely keep you posted! ...
